Been doing a lot of work lately to get some stuff off the ground and going.  Creating a show reel has been a high priority.

Little monsters

Been working on some new maquettes models for me and Jo to sell on our new Etsy shop site.

I used the designs from my little monster range which you can find on our spreadshirt shop,  http://walchildshop.spreadshirt.co.uk/:  Just waiting on the silicone to come so I can make the molds and then I'll cast the model in resin to be sanded down and painted.

All the model have a wire armature and are held to the base with (some stuff that I can't remember) then modeled round with sculpey firm.  Creating these to work on new models and improve my modeling.

Why is the world against Edward Snowden's

National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden's told the world about what his country was doing. Spying on us without strong reason but maybe a slip of the tungon when we are joking or a little angry about the world and how powerless we may feel about it.  

I'm angry and so should you be that people who speak out about unjustifiable action taken by evil rogue nations on people who may only speak out so that every day people can live a normal life.

Stand up for Edward Snowden and help him find peace in an evil world.

First commission to produce one comic and two motion comics

This commission was one that I got through the student gems website for students and graduates looking for work/ commission work.  I work for a amazing chap, Mick who represented a charity called sparc who helps kids with learning difficulties.

The brief was to create comic books for these kids and then to turn them into motion comic.  I was ask to create one of the four comics and then to turn two of the comic into motion comics.

 This is page one from the comic that I create call NO TROUBLE DEALING WITH THE LAW.

These are the motion comic that I was ask to do.  The first one is called DIABETES YOUR HEALTH IS YOUR WEALTH, and the second my comic called NO TROUBLE DEALING WITH THE LAW

The first comic was illustrated by Jo Totto (http://thelifeoftotti.com/#/home) and them animated by myself.

The second comic was both illustrated and animated myself.

I decided to keep both comics really simple for two reasons.  (1) so that there wasn't to much going on as the comic was for kids with learning difficulties and I wanted them to focus on the what was being said.  

(2) I did all the animating(if you can call the little movements and panel resizing, animation) in Adobe After Effects sc6.  So my computer is a Dell studio XPS but not a work station and will only render between 7-10 seconds that a time with some effects going on.  So that meant that I could have to much going at anyone time.  Also it only proves how much I need to save for a work station PC with more bit under the hood.

How would we explain religion to other life in the universe

So the rover has Identify clay on Mars meaning that once there may have been life.  I have to wonder if Mars did once have life would they been so worried about who the next Pope would be?   Also how would that fit in with the bible teaching?  Earth is meant to be the centre of the universe.  If we were to find on another planet with life how would that one be explained?  After all it isn't mentioned in the bible, life on other planets.  How could they know.  They made the stories up with the knowledge of the day and the idea of other planets with life would have been silly ideas.  As silly as religion is nowadays. 

It time on pay day loans and about time too

So the new loan sharks of the modern world have been giving 12 week to clean up their industry.  Is it me or do we need a new approach to banking all together?  Why when the recession of 2008 hit do we still continue with a system that has done little but put us in more debt.  

Who would willing ask to be a slave?  So why do we keep with the old system and not look to create better local bank run by local people for local people.  Would drive down debt for people create small local business who bring work to their community.   

Don't we all feel better that we saved the banks

How is that we bailed the banks out for them just to screw us over?  Why do we keep creating money only for them to add it to their own profits sheet?  Lucky shareholders.  Isn't it time we start looking at setting up more small banks run by local people for local people?

Oh yes and one more think.  F*!ting bankers.
